Seeing as he's been getting these sorts of threats since he was a player, what has he done between the time they started and the recent run of bad feeling around Old Firm games to cause them to continue right through that time?

Just a thought, but maybe these threats have f*ck all to do with Neil Lennon's behaviour as the manager of Celtic - particularly given similar threats have been mailed to Paddy McCourt who as far as I'm aware has been about as low profile as anyone could be in that situation.

Looking at it again you had to call him a pr*ck twice. Like I said any reasonable person would tie the two together, especially if you need to have a go at him that much.

:FRUSRATED: :FRUSRATED: Once again I'll repost my original quote, I've said it before but looks like I'll have to say it again for you, I said in my original post 'No reflection on what happened tonight' - meaning when he was attacked on the pitch so therefore no reasonable person would think I thought he deserved it because I said no reflection on tonight. Putting what two together?? there's no two to put together. read my post below and you'll see it says no reflection on tonight then you might, eventually, realise what I was getting at.

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain
coach.

Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....)

You responded to the post about him being assaulted and then talked about him inflaming the situation.

From what i saw on the TV relating to the incident after Celtic scored their second goal he stood at the side of the pitch told his players to get back and someone ran from 30 yards away to assault him.

In the CONTEXT of that situation he appeared to do nothing different to every other football manager.

If you are talking about his previous actions this season and before that then say so.

But if you are going back to justify or explain things then how far are you going back. are you going back to Loyalists threatening to kill him if he played for Northern Ireland again.

Your and other posters attempts to try to explain the recent sectarian football incidents in Scotland as all being down to Lennon are ridiculous.

Are you related to him?

You dont half twist things and talk drivvel..!! :BEAT:

Just admit it come on!?!? Neil lennon is a jerk that desperately needs a slapping and a boot up his jacksie... go on DG admit it

Then we can all get on with talking about matters ON the pitch where the mighty Rangers are gonna make it 2 out of 2 trophies this year.. before Motherwell win the cup

Hope Motherwell can do something to stop Lennon winning the league this weekend, and if Stuart McCall can do something to parody Lennon's behaviour at Filbert Street in 2000 when with the ball in play coming towards the end of the game, he sat on the ball and gestured to the Bradford City fans he was in front of that we were "going down" I'd be even happier. McCall was in our team that day and hopefully he'll remind him of it (the prick was wrong too).

All a load of b*llocks really to be fair.

Something proper in regards to the punishment to Celtic/Rangers and Hearts' fans and officials needs to happen soon. This is clearly reaching boiling point and soon someone's going to get severly hurt because of it.

Throwing everyone out of europe may not be a bad shout but will that effect the fans? I'm not sure. Clearly we're dealing with an ever increasing majority in the fan bases that are morons and probably wouldn't stop just because they're getting thrown out of a tournament they're that stupid.
Having the absolute minimum amount of Away fans for a season may calm it down a bit. And automatic bans for Club officials who speak out like they do and clearly stir trouble.

It's all a bit of a pickle.

If the SFA had a backbone 10 years ago and stop letting the Old Firm away with anything it may have nipped all this in the bud a bit sooner. A LOT of this is because of them and their embarrassing Organisation.
