Fair play to Niall Quinn, he has told it how it is, on SSN.
Speaking about how our own press haven't exactly helped, as they have been very pessimistic with the coverage they have gioven our own bid, which is ridiculous.
He also stated that he cant get his head around FIFA's decisions sometimes.
All correct in my opinion.
I thought Quinn spoke really well in that interview he called it spot on, for me. I think the media have been optimistic with our bid, very positive barring the obvious but either way I can't see that being an issue really. FIFA voters from around the world, based in Zurich would they be looking at our media's back pages? I can't believe the Russia bid was better than ours, having seen the presentations and speeches they never got near ours.
On 2022 - Qatar? what about the heat, 40-50 degree heats will be unbearable. They've said they'll put air conditioned stadiums in place but how can you possibly play football in those heats in the peak of summer. All medical and scientific advice is against their conditions alone.
