Anderson reminds me of Scott Harrison (maybe its the Scottish connection). A tough, strong as a ox but fairly limited type of fighter(although he is a commonwealth games gold medalist so he does have a good ameture backround) who can give anyone a leathering on the right night, he's easily Europian level IMO. I'd love to see Anderson fight someone like Bika. That would be a real war.

Misquoted my backside.

Froch is pedalling backwards faster than Wiggins goes forward there. He made a comment, realised he's going to cop some backlash for it and made up some story about context.

Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate,
The one that used to get you in bother,
But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.

He got stripped of his title but the fight went ahead and he won in the 6th round. I don't like him as a person but as a fighter he's potentially the best fighter in the sport. Gary Russell Jnr is anther American to look out for.

Just looking aroundthe net for the schedule over the next couple of months and there're some really good fights coming up on the world scene

San Jose, Calif.

12 Rounds - Welterweight division (for interim WBC title)

Orlando Salido (No. 2) vs. Moises Gutierrez
10 Rounds - Featherweight division

Bayamon, Puerto Rico
Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Rafael Marquez
12 Rounds - Junior featherweight division

Tavoris Cloud (No. 3) vs. Jean Pascal (No. 2)
12 Rounds - Light heavyweight division (for Cloud's IBF title)

Juan Carlos Salgado (No. 2) vs. Jonathan Barros
12 Rounds - Junior lightweight division

Robert Stieglitz (No. 2) vs. Arthur Abraham (No. 9)
12 Rounds - Super middleweight division (for Stieglitz's WBO title)

Gennady Golovkin (No. 8) vs. Proksa
12 Rounds - Middleweight division (for Golovkin's WBA title)

Felix Sturm (No. 1) vs. Daniel Geale (No. 2)
12 Rounds - Middleweight division (for WBO and IBF titles)

Andre Ward (C) vs. Chad Dawson (light heavyweight Champion)
12 Rounds - Super middleweight division (for Ward's RING, WBC, WBA titles)

Vitali Klitschko (No. 1) vs. Manuel Charr
12 Rounds - Heavyweight division (for Klitschko's WBC title)

Randall Bailey (No. 7) vs. Devon Alexander
12 Rounds - Welterweight division (for Bailey's IBF title)

Sergio Martinez (C) vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (No. 3)
12 Rounds - Middleweight division (for RING, WBC titles)

Saul Alvarez (No. 3) vs. Josesito Lopez (No. 8 welterweight)
12 Rounds - Junior middleweight division (for Alvarez's WBC title)

Th ones in bold I'm especially looking forward to. It'll be interesting to see how Ward deals with Dawson. I give Dawson a good chance in that fight.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Misquote, taken out of context, or whatever, Froch isn't far wrong. Khan is pretty much finished.

His record now reads as a very average one. His only positive remaining is that he is rarely involved in a dull fight, so from that perspective promotors, especially American ones, will always be willing to pay him decent cash to fight some high profile clashes - However, it now seems obvious, that he will lose more often than not and so he could wind up with a career being a punchbag for up and coming young US fighters.

Realistically, apart from that option, his only other choice would be to come back to the UK with his tail between his legs and try to get a shot at Kell Brook......I actually think Khan would stand a good chance in that one - Brook lacks real power and Khan would land plenty on him, so it would make for a good, even money fight.

Price v Harrison, October 18. Don't see how this serves Price's development.
