I find it strangely reassuring that Hibs didn't manage to come close to replicating their first half performance tonight and resorted to the same old sheite.

A brave fight-back from Buckie but not quite enough.

Good win for the Lichties.
Back joint top with a 5 point gap back to the third placed team.

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain
coach.

Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....)

Is Neil Lennon any better than John Barnes was?

I get the feeling if he wasn't so unpopular with everyone else (and hence popular with the Celtic lot) he'd be at risk of the sack given how far behind Rangers they are and how he couldn't manage to usurp them despite them not buying a player for years before this season.

The only downside of effectively denying Celtic the title was the fact that your lot were the beneficaries!

Stick your house on Dunfermline winning at Easter Road next week anyroad as I'm going to the game and I've yet to see us score a goal this season

Now youve said that i can see Hibs winning 3-1... mark my words. Hey, whenever you's get any kind of result either of the old firm will benefit!
i had a similar jinx when going to ibrox between 2005 and 2007 (about 10 games in a row without seeing them win) mind you having said that im a champs lge gloryhunter  I was there at ibrox sat in a tight for space seat in the main stand in 2005 when Ivan Sproule got a hatrick for Hibs, being 6ft 5 i was uncomfortable as it was but we were humped 3 zip that day but it soon changed when we beat stuttgart 2-1 in sept 07 :D

What I'd give for Sproule to come up with another performance like that at some point this season, never mind against your lot!

What are people's thoughts on the 'Friday Night Football' experiment by the way? Hibs' game away to Motherwell in December has been switched to the Friday so it basically means having to drive up to the game and get back in the early hours rather than a leisurely day on the pop on the train. Certainly wouldn't want to see it becoming a regular thing for that reason alone.

Christ, in that sense its a downer for you, having said that, Fir Park is easier for you, its shaving a few miles off going over to 'Auld Reekie"!! as you're aware if sky say we play at midnight on a Tuesday then so be it, we (the SPL) tried to hoodwink sky into more money in 2000 (even though the English werent watching the matches barring the OF games) and got their fingers burnt and ended up with peanuts off setanta and the BBC, so its 'touch yer toes time' for the SFA  the money is key!!

its got me wondering, i think the last old firm game on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm was in 1998 when we won 2-0 at ibrox.. crazy what money has done

The old firm game on a friday night in late March looks a cert..
