Well, that was a plodding return from SNA - well beaten into third. After nearly 1 run in nearly 18 months, probably needed the run. Disappointing, none the less.

Was away busy all day yesterday so no bets yesterday either, looking forward to Aintree.

Lutine Bell has progressed well since joining Murphy, winning on his debut for the yard. Neil Callan took the ride that day, and It's interesting that he rides this horse again as one of only 2 rides for the day. Although he has to defy a career high mark and has looked best in recent times over further, he has won over sprint distances when he was with Sir Mark Prescott, The yard's in flying form at the moment, from his last 6 runners 2 wins and 2 in place money. This is Murphy's sole runner of the day, and represents value at 25/1.

Will try to get try to get a few thoughts up in time each Monday. Should make for a better meeting and betting propisition though and will see if there are any bets to be had when the bookies price it up.

Wolves v Poole looks a close one to call and the bookies seem to have it right with the home side getting 4 points as I'd just favour them but Poole are strong in reserve and Dennis Andersson is well capable of picking up a bundle of points and although Freddie Lindgren and Peter Karlsson will be nigh on unbeatable at home as usual there are plenty of cracks further down the team and are not a team to pile on tonight either outright or on the handicap.

The last time the sides met at Monmore it was a draw (and included a mega rare dead heat) and at 16/1 with Hills a small bet on history repeating could be the way to go.

Thank you for the insight espanyolswan, Sounds like the best thing to do is avoid tonight then I'll save myself for the meetings when you heavily favour one of the sides.

Wise move and I do not think Freddie Lindgren has had a worse meeting around his home track (and most of those down the order for Wolves were pathetic).

Could be time to have a wager on Chris Holder to make an impact in the World Championship as he is riding at the top of his game and if he can convert his team riding to the individual stage he might get a few meeting wins to back up his win at Cardiff in the British GP last year. He was 8th last season but only 11 points off 4th and considering it was his first year riding at that level a top 4 or 5 finish should be his aim and at the prices it has to be worth a few quid he does a bit better than that. Possibly of more interest to win individual events in reality but it only takes an injury or problems with the new silencer technology for the likes of Gollob and Sayfutdinov and the whole thing would be blown wide open and at 33/1 or bigger he's no forlorn hope.

Finally got a couple of decent wins last weekend after a few weeks barren spell with Dilshan getting top runscorer @ 28's, and a footie win.
