I'm hoping Wigan stay up, I can usually get a ticket for the JJB and its a decent day out. Although the same applies to Blackburn and Bolton. Would be disappointed if the 3 Lancashire teams went down to be replaced by Southampton, Reading & Brighton.

I'm not sure what was worse: That first half, the decision by Atkinson not to give the pen, or Steve McManaman's insistence that it was the right decision.

Read a paper, watch MOTD, or listen to Merson on SSN. They hate it. Listen to fans of lower league clubs who think we've bought our way there despite spending less than their side. A Swindon fan described us as everything thats wrong with football today.

I'm not buying it, I'm afraid. It's similar to the myth that the club have bravely battled against relegation each season, defying the huge odds and staying up. I think I may have posted before that I've backed the Latics to stop up each and every season since they went up. Every season that is except this one.
