I honestly think one of Guardiola's biggest tests will be to rein in the over-confidence and keep the players' feet on the grass. They play amazing foozeball at times but are developing a tendency to overcomplicate things. They'll bog La Lliga but the Champions League will be the real test.

I think the most impressive aspect of Arsenal's performance has been their ability to push their physical boundaries. There was a point (just before Arshavin came on) where I thought Arsenal looked knackered, I thought Barca were gonna cruise but they somehow found another level. Still, the high defence worked for them tonight, they crowded Barca out but I seen too many chances missed by Barca tonight to think Arsenal could do it to the same effect at the Camp Nou.

Still, t'was a good game, bewildered as to how it was 1-0 for so long, Barca have that away goal though and they're guaranteed to score in the next leg. Great result for Shakhtar in Rome, Douglas Costa (remember him?) scoring a great goal apparently.

Well done to Arsenal. Still think Barca will go through, mind. Bad posistioning by Valdes for the Van Persie goal. Did anybody see Fabregas' pass to RVP, to set up the Arshavin goal? Absolutley exquisite pass.

Wilshere made a very quick pass to start it off. Great stuff. Hopefully we won't see Gareth Barry near and England squad ever again.

You thought they were sh*t? Come on, be honest, they were the better side over the 90 minutes. They created a fair amount, they controlled play and they should have put the game to bed well before van Persie slammed home. I'm all for criticism and not believing hype, but I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Arsenal deserved to win because they scored two fair goals, but Barca were the better side.

He's special, isn't he? Frightening thing is, he's only 19. I agree with you re; Barry, one of, if not the most overrated player in the PL.
