You're right, maybe sh*t is the wrong word, but its fair to say that while in possession, Barca bored me to within an inch of my life, much like Spain did in the World Cup last year. Perhaps they do justify some hype, perhaps not. The media's lengths of bigging them up is hilarious. Tyldsley couldn't even mention Arsenal's winner without rimming Barca.
Tyldsley was rimming Arsenal all night. There was a point where Arsenal were getting cuntstuffed possession-wise, Arsenal got the ball from a goal kick and one of their centre halves passed it out to the midfielder, Tyldsley, in the most desperate of tones, said "Arsenal are still
trying to pass it about, even in their own half" as though they were doing something we should be proud of.
You may have found Barca's possession game a little boring, but it's their way of defence. There may be occasions where a pass could be on, or they have a bit of space to attack in, but they play with their brain far more than any other British side. That may be 'boring', but I feel you just have to truly appreciate the game to realize that, although it may not be visually beautiful, technically and tactically it is brilliant.
Anyway, Arsenal obviously had the commentary bias as they were the English club. Barca got many compliments, but you can't say they don't deserve them.
