A trophyless season for Chelsea then. Ancelotti will be gone in the summer. I think you need the bigger and more prestigious clubs like Everton advancing in all honesty.

Robbing scouse 8astards.

Can't believe we didn't put players on the posts for the free kick. There was two minutes to go FFS. Baines is a quality free kick taker. Of course you invite pressure if you put people on the posts because you can't play offside, but it's still infinitely better to do that than give a player like Baines a 1 v 1 with the keeper.

Brilliant free kick though. On first showing I thought it was a Cech error, but on the replay it was just a beautiful free kick.

Anelka. In a penalty shoot out? It wasn't bad enough last time?

Howard should have been off and a pen to us. The ref bottled it big time.

We still should have won with the chances we had.

Lovely! I honestly didn't think we would win that game until the moment Phil Nev rippled the net. Fantastic result provided they can avoid losing to Barnsley in the next round.

Where was Nando today? Cup tied?

If they'd have tried to score another goal in the last 5 minutes instead of trying to run the clock down by time wasting and running into the corner, then the plastic fantastic fans wouldn't be whining about the refs again. 6,000 Evertonians at Stamford bridge, compare that to the 2,000 Chelsea fans at Goodison. Big club my booty.

greatly deserved result for everton, Chelsea havent been performing for a few weeks now and are in real danger of losing out on the top 4. They'll be no plastic flags at Wembley this year.
