hmmmmm whilst I am sure he is conscious of locking horns with Dalglish again, and despite Hodgson being a friend of his, Fergie has gone on the record a million times in the past saying managers generally aren't given enough time, i expect Hodgson being given the boot by Liverpool after a few months comes under that banner too.
Despite the loathing of him from some quarters, he seems to be very highly respected and even liked by most members of the LMA and has been very vocal in his support of his peers generally in the past and condemned owners / directors who chop and change their managers every 5 minutes.
He'll always have one eye on what's happening at Liverpool, but i doubt he's sh1tting himself about it right now.
