According to a Latics mate Edman was at fault for eight of the goals and the rest of the team weren't that bad. (I crap you not!)

Jermaine Defoe "not good enough to take to the world cup" as cover over a 16 year old boy who has never played senior level football before and scores 5 goals in one match.

Good old Enfield Exile.

There's no need to come out. I think Ricketts is within his rights to head back to the keeper towards goal from 30 yards out, without fear of him already being halfway down the pitch

The keeper must have shouted but clearly not loud enough.

Now I've watched it again on MotD2 I agree with you. The keeper has run into a ridiculous position becauause he thought he wouldn't make the header.

It is? Really? Wow. With insights with these the following...

Thanks. Keep reading and you might pick up a thing or two.

...simply speaks for itself. Cheating is cheating. Here's me thinking cheating wasn't cheating at all.

So every single form of cheating no matter what context or end result is the same?

You don't think preventing a team from entering the world's premier sporting tournament and causing an international incident is slightly worse than cheating in a dead rubber game early on in a league format when your team is getting beat 3-0?

Hmm. Please, Aristotle, give me some more of your wisdom.

In what way was it a dead rubber game?

Perhaps the wrong word in this instance. I just meant the game was already over at that point.

Temptation, greets you like your naughty mate,
The one that used to get you in bother,
But one that you could never bring yourself to hate.
