How is the #1 pick decided upon? We are both 1-11 with pretty much identical stats across the board so what tiebreaker is used to split us?

I have no idea what the tie breaker is. Didn't they coin toss a year or two ago between Tampa and Kansas City?

Either way everywhere i've looked has it

1. Cleveland
2. Tampa
3. St. Louis

so with Cleveland getting the W it'll be

1. Tampa
2. St. Louis
3. Cleveland

Scratch that.

Tiebreakers are determined by these things in order:

1. Previous season strength of schedule.
2. Dvision and conference records.
3. Coin toss.

Smith is an offensive lineman

I have read views from a couple of places saying that people have expressed doubts over whether any of the QB's going into the draft are actually worthy of a top 5 pick.

The only thing that would worry me about picking Suh is our recent history of picking 1st round defensive tackles who turned out to be busts, like Jimmy Kennedy, Damione Lewis and you could even argue Ryan Pickett who was garbage until his contract year.

Adalius Thomas needs to stop crying about being sent home and start earning his massive paycheck

Hes one of the more experienced players on our D and he needs to step up his game before he is put back into the practice squad.

I know that. Jason Smith from Baylor. Three succesive line players in three years with so much money invested would IMO be too much.


I agree about the QB's not being top 5 material, and the ones coming out are so close together in terms of talent. I think Clausen is the best, but the rest are pretty close so you could maybe trade down, but it is really difficult to trade from first pick.

Pickett has been good for us. He is a pretty good NT.

Jamarcus Russell is truly idiotic. I've just read that he is blaming his team mates for not making plays when he was QB and now they are for Gradkowski. Maybe that has something to do with them thinking your rubbish Jamarcus. He is a terrible player with a terrible attitude. Even if we do cut him, nobody will take Russell.

Maybe its just the Raiders players/coaching staff that are garbage on not helping his development or maybe he is just a flat out bust either way with proper coaching he may be a servicable backup in the NFL but thats about it from what I have seen, but not on the cash hes on now its just ludicrous
