I watched the game last night until it got to 28-0, total ownage

I know it's only pre-season but our pass rush was amazing and that wasn't even the proper starting line-up

Infact with around 20 D lineman on the roster until final cuts I don't even think BB knows the starting line-up

Fat Albert may be looking for another team soon aswell the way they played, like I say I know it's only pre-season but that pass rush and last seasons are a million miles apart!

Pre-season means absolutely nothing. The Browns killed the Packers last week, but that is nothing to get excited about. It's a chance to run plays that you wouldn't run in a regular game.

As an inter-divisional yardstick, we were 17-0 against Miami last week when we pulled our starters in the second quarter and had Henne looking like a beaten puppy.

Be interested to see how we go against the Jags this week, the two teams having had combined practices on a couple of nights. It's something coach Smith likes to do to break up the monotony of camp - we had a couple last year, think one might have been the Pats?

Yep, Dimitroff arranged that one I think. Pats had a week training with the Saints too and were/are trying get joint practice with the Lions for next week.

It breaks up training against your own team for a bit and when it comes to 11 on 11s at the end of the day it is like extra pre-season games, just with less intensity. More teams should do them really.

Scrimmages are great fun

We've had a few at uni, played against Manchester Uni in first season, and a bunch of old blokes from Crewe last year. We absolutely slaughtered them.

Very different to practicing with your own guys, cause you actually have to read plays instead of trying to hear the playcalls, and in our league some players play both ways, so they get more time at their positions too.

That would have made me 8 when I signed up here.

Just seen a clip from our game against Loughborough, with someone on their sideline shouting abuse at our QB

"Yeah, speak American, that'll make you play better"

Our QB was Canadian with an arm like a cannon and a temper.

More embarrased for the person shouting it. How do you speak American anyway? I wasn't aware they had their own language.

Watched the 1st half for the Dolphins/Panthers game earlier. God these 2 teams are awful! The 'Phins had 22 mins of possession in the 1st half and kept falling to pieces. 13 points from that amount of time on the ball is terrible, especially when the TD comes on the 4th down after 3 goal line stands from Carolina. For the Panthers, Cam did his best and didnt make any mistakes but he was getting very little help from anywhere else. I know it's preseason but both teams sent starters out for the 1st half and I saw nothing in the Panthers that says they will win more than 3 or 4 games this year.

For Miami, Bush was impressive, but you would expect that against a team with a run D that makes Tampa's look like pro bowl starters. Henne had his moments but isnt the key for Miami's success. I was surprised to see a stat that Miami was in top 10 in all the offensive stats last season apart from points scoring, where they were ranked in the mid 20's. That say's it all to me.

Oh, and now I have said this their starters will stuff our starters next Saturday and make me look like a massive fool
