45 minutes of kiddies level football.....we were starting to laugh near the end.
Attempts actually on goal...next to nil.

Get Busquets/Alonso off. Get Xavi deep, get Villa up front and get Silva/Navas out wide. Spain need space, Xavi is too far forward to get involved and he isn't quick enough to get away from the crowd. Pretty poor coaching from del Bosque, this.

Could do with getting Torres off as well, maybe for a winger if he won't bring one of his four centre mids off.

Paraguay had enough chances to win the game, Spain were there for the taking but Paraguay were equally as poor. Didn't really feel any sympathy for them to be honest, the goal was lucky but they didn't deserve to win.

The way Spain have ridden their luck so far since the Switzerland defeat makes me think they are nailed-on to win it now...freak opening goal against Chile having been outplayed, Chile player very harshly sent off in the scoring of the 2nd goal, goal against Portugal going in off the bar, Paraguay penno saved when 4 Spanish players were encroaching, winning goal against Paraguay going in off both posts having rebounded perfetly into Villa's path in the first place...having said that they have been the better team in all their games without reaching the high spots we know they are capable of, and they have only conceded 2 goals - 1 the jammy goal against Switzerland and the other a major deflection against Chile so I certainly wouldn't back against them beating Germany.
