Still fancy Arsenal for the title, I can 't see Utd competing on three fronts with the amount of injuries to defenders and sadly can see us finishing with nothing. The plus might be it tells Fergie he needs to go and spend in the summer, maybe not!

I still Chelsea could be in with a shout too, they will need to win virtually every game though.

I think Fergie knows he has to spend in the summer but unfortunately it won't be his choice as to how much he can spend
Certainly needs a top keeper, 1 class central midfielded, plus some defensive cover too - can't rely on Evans, O'Shea, Brown or the twins staying in form/ fit

For me, the only real damage that no Europe will do for LFC next season would be in player recruitment. Is it unlikely that whoever finishes sixth will qualify for EL though? AFAIK if United win the Cup, then that will free an extra EL place?

To be honest, no Europe may not be such a bad thing if we manage to get some players through the door. It'll free us to concentrate on finally getting to Wembley and challenging the top four.

Only works in the league cup I think. I think if United or City win the cup, the losing finalist goes in it. I think thats what happened to Millwall anyhow.

Three teams qualify for the Europa League.

5th placed in the PL, plus the winners of the FA Cup and League Cup.

Birmingham have already taken the League Cup spot. If the winners of the FA Cup have already qualified through league position then their spot in the Europa League will go to the beaten finalists.

If Bolton beat Stoke in the semi-final, they will effectively take the last Europa League spot whether they win the FA Cup or not.

If Bolton do manage to win it and finish 5th in the PL, then the 6th place PL team will qualify as the third English representative.
