Is it a PAL copy of the game?
Madden 11 wouldn't register for me because it was an Asian copy.
I had the same message pop up for me Harrigan. However I just turned off my machine and turned it back on again and it then worked absolutely fine.
Pretty impressed with it so far, especially ultimate team. So if anybody else has it on PS3 and would like to trade me some cards i'd be extremely grateful!

Had the same problem, I also just turned my system on and off again and it worked. Still having problems logging on to ea servers though.
