oi Cata, the clue is in the name 'London Wasps' (head office in Acton BTW)

fantastic facilities at Adams park just down the A40 with free P & R to the ground - just a pity about the team at the moment...
and I reckon any sports club founded about 150 years ago and having a couple of European trophies to their name plus a few national titles can call themselves an 'institution'

regarding Pompey - well,a club that's been going for a 120 ish years with one of the most faithful and loyal groups of fans with a couple of league titles over the years plus a couple of FA Cups gets my respect...

the loss of either club would be terrible for british sporting culture and could be a pre cursor to many others folding......

just singing 'Land of Hope and Glory'..............

bet it's quicker to get from say, Maidstone to Wycombe than from Maidstone to The Stoop ?

Hardly seems likely as to get to Wycombe from Maidstone you would have to go past the turning for the Stoop

i'm sure they were absolutely devastated by the plight of the Bradford Bulls, a major sporting istitution that 2 times more people care about
