thats the only they reason post these stories on VB they do it all the time... say union dieing lol etc... there are teams in financial problems in all professional sports not just union.

and there beloved NRL has been made out to be a joke now as well.

Debt, per se, is not a problem. It's debt that you can't repay that is the issue. Granted, HMRC are getting more tetchy with sports clubs over unpaid tax but issuing a winding-up order isn't exactly the first step they take to reclaim what they're owed.

I would very much doubt that this statement from HMRC is a significant threat to London Wasps in any way. The mention of a planned new stadium in High Wycombe would suggest they certainly aren't worried by the financial situation they find themselves in.

Pointless coming on just bagging union for the sake of it lads.

Yeah, the NSWRU is in a fine mess. Waratahs are really struggling and will need some big cheques from the ARU, IRB to bail them out from what I've read.
