Everyone remaining tight-lipped about the actual reasons. Somerset are interested, apparently, and it's a problem that's entirely fitting of Yorkshire to create. That's two really good bowlers out the door, Wainwright being t'other

The first two are complete imponderables, questions as old as time itself.
The third - whoever it was deserves a medal. It's worked out very nicely indeed.

For Shahzad to be ushered towards the door marked "do one" so soon after Moxon had been praising his attitude after a difficult 2011 and saying he was bowling as well as anybody around at the moment suggests that something else is at play. I'll blame Colin Graves, but that's my default position on almost everything in life.
