My initial thoughts aswell, £22m for somebody who's only played in the Premier-Liha is a lot of money no matter how highly rated he may be, Also with Gerard Piqué, Rafael Márquez, Carles Puyol & Gabriel Milito all Centre Backs and Martín Cáceres (Juventus) & Henrique (Racing Santander) out on Loan this season there is depth there for Barça...

To be honest, Caceres has the potential to be a better player Chygrynskiy. He has a lot of natural, physical attributes, he's just sloppy on the ball. He barely got a chance last year which was a little harsh because he's a good player. Hopefully, Juve give him his fair share of games this year so he can fully develop, hopefully at centre back and not at left back.

Not 100% about Marquez, but isn't Milito still out injured?
There were reports he may never play again at the end of last year.

I haven't really heard much in regards of both Márquez & Milito fitness wise to be honest which is quite strange...

To be honest I, like many Barcelona fans am not convinced by Caceres.
Hemnrique had a great season in Germany last year and I'd say he's ahead of the Uruguayan lad in the pecking order.

Am looking forward to see how Garay does at Madrid.

Just seen the highlights from Madrid-Depor. Not the most convincing of displays, but still think they'll take the title back this year.

Have you seen the Pitch at Estadio Mestalla...
With the Attacking quality of David Villa, David Silva & Juan Mata surely something has to be done otherwise your going to hamper that sort of talent.
