I'm pretty sure at the start of the year he wasn't picked for a City game because there were rumours he was having a medical at Sunderland or something, only for it to be called off or something. Then the new owners came in and the rest is history, City are massive!

as i've posted on la liga thread. the spanish league resembled the SPL this year with the gap between 2nd and 3rd.

Just think it is pretty sad that Heysel seems to be the 'forgotten' disaster while others get massive amounts of sympathy/media coverage every year.

To be honest only Hillsborough gets it. I'm sure the good people of Bradford and Lincoln remember the fire in the appropriate manner but the rest of the country do not and the same with the Ibrox disaster.

Hillsborough got it this year because it was 20 years on and the fact the lies were coming out of the wood work hardly gets much any other time same with Munich 50 years on loads of media about it this year not as much.

Even more sad when certain fans use the disaster on a banner and in songs to try and wind up other fans, its clear some people use remembering Heysel for other reasons

Would you be questioning the motives or even the mere presence of a picture of the Bradford fire memorial?
