Aye i did wonder that to. :?

Its going to be an on going arguement with both sides raising valid points and the conference aren't going to be changing owt. Its just sad that its come to this more so for Chester City obviously but things need sorting correctly in future before all this happens.

Here's to a vital 3 point against AFC Wimbledon tomorrow. C'mon!

You can't do that though. It isn't fair on the teams who are left to play the team that's been expunged. Both ends of the table are tight so it isn't fair to have these unplayed games declared as any result. All this moaning about the teams having to pay these bonuses etc. doesn't wash with me. They still got a crowd through the turnstiles. The bookings things is the only grey area in my opinion. The precedent has been set that the results should be expunged.

I'm confused as to why at least 4 of these 10 clubs in the BSP vote to send Chester packing when they knew that the standard thing to do is expunge results?

Codarmysaint get over yourself. There are another 21 clubs that are affected by Farsley going under. They will all be treated the same as yourself. I would of thought a club of your stature should be in a similar to position to Newport County? What with your league players and top class stadia.

Except they arent treated the same as ourselves. We won both matches and are now paying the price because of it. No matter, Piley already has the support of over half the league in his appeal and his representatives (im not talking about some tin pot lawyers here) are very confident the FA will overturn the decision.

I cant wait to get out of this joke of a league

So you are the only team to lose points are you? It's not ideal but it is the only fair way to do things. Say you finish joint top with Southport after they have been awarded this 0-0 victory. You take the title by 1 goal on goal difference. What to say they wouldn't of beaten Farsley? This denies them the championship. Indeed what if they beat you by a point after this 0-0 victory? Whats to say they wouldn't of lost or drawn? There really is no other fair alternative.

Oh and have you not noticed the same thing is happening in the division above? Team gone under results expunged. If it happens again next year will it be another conspiracy to keep the football league standard Fleetwood in non-league?

I have just looked at Farsleys result and see they have already played Southport twice. The point still stands however. Replace the top 2 with say the teams in the relegation dog fight. It is the only fair way to deal with the situation and far from a conspiracy. Is it not fairer that the teams left in the division have a league table at the end of the season will still represent what all within the league actually achieved against each other, rather than that plus what some achieved against one team, and presuming what the others would? Only way to do it without it getting silly. To re-instate the results would be like using the pools panel to decide postponed games.

If your not at the game there is commentary on the game in Radio York. Only 125 Fleetwood fans apparently. Thought you would of taken more?

Ive got radio york on :)

125 fans is fantastic for this division. We get about a taxi full of away fans with the exception of FC United who brought about 100

Fair enough. To be fair we have had away teams bring less than 20 this season. Sounds like Harrogate are starting to come into it. Cue a Fleetwood goal
