No it, it says that there are Liverpool fans out there that believe you can still win the league. It says nothing about me.
So they're idiots for having big ambitions? I'm sure there are, there will be Liverpool fans that have the feelings you mentioned and the feelings I've mentioned. In all the Liverpool fans around the world deluded or not there will be some who think you can win the league and there will be others that don't. Just because the people you know don't say you're gonna win the league it doesn't mean everyone is like that. It doesn't mean the people you know are the voice of all fans worldwide either.
Calm down, dear. Don't flatter yourself, I don't really care what Liverpool do, the only time they worry me is when they come to Goodison and we go to Anfield. Believe me I have enough worries about where my club is going to be bothered about yours too. I didn't set anyone up for anything, they said it and I laughed, that's about it. I didn't bring anything up.
I've no doubt there are some folk that would still claim we'd win the league if we resigned Rush, Barnes and Molby. My point is they must be in the tiny minority, because I haven't seen anyone predicting we'd win the league for 2 years.
It just cracks me up. Every year it's the same. I'm a Liverpool fan, therefore I must be delude. I predict we'll win the league every year. Mediocre players like Stewart Downing are now world-class because they pull on the red of Liverpool.
When we're out of the title race in October, no doubt some of the WUMs on here will be back on to tell me how deluded I was and that I need to live in the real world. I wonder if some of the more optimistic Arsenal & City fans get the same treatment? I doubt it.
