The ODI side is like the Test side, a cosy members club that once you're in its very difficult to get expelled from.

So we're just going to ignore his first spell then (something like 0-18 in six very tidy overs) in determining whether he keeps his place?

Frankly he's looked no worse this series than the much more experienced Anderson and Sideshow Bob who have appeared to be going through the motions.

Still, if Rashid can worry Michael Clarke (one of the best players of spin in the world) then get dropped I suppose anything is possible.

No, but he should have the guile to bowl at the death. What I watched was one of the worst bowling displays since I used to play.

Collingwood and Anderson rested for 3 games (Colly) and the rest of the series (Jimmy) and not a moment too soon for me.

With regards Bresnan - I think he's an easy target as he's a bit chunky and he doesn't bowl at express pace and doesn't rip through teams but in my eyes he's never really let England down...he wasn't alone in bowling raggedly the other night was he??
