Chelsea have had a lot of success with Italian imports - Zola, Di Matteo, Vialli, Gullit (transferred from Sampdoria). Unfortunately they were all pre-Abramovich.

Since Abramovich Chelsea have had Schevchenko, Mutu, Crespo and Queresma. To say I am underwhelmed with Abramovich's Italian imports is an understatement.

Not convinced over Ancelotti myself. I think he's a mile behind the two best candidates for the job. Sadly the two best candidates are now ex-Chelsea managers.
