Many of the players apparently have clauses enabling them to leave if we don't get promoted. It would be nice if those clauses enabled us to force them out. I imagine it's the likes of Lee, Boulding, McLaren and Brandon. The only one I'd like to stay is probably Brandon, I don't think we've seen the best of him. Hopefully the rest go, but who would take them. Evans will probably be gone and I have a feeling Thorne will call it a day too so we could be starting next season with a very unfamiliar starting line-up. We won't be seeing Law or Furman back either.
The only hope is we can pluck some young, hungry talent from the lower leagues but has the scouting system been in place to identify any of this talent? I doubt it. |
