You've stolen my washing
From out my back garden
You've tarmacked my driveway
Even though I said no
You've nicked my lead flashing
And weighed it in at the scrappy
Oh St Helen's tatters
Come rob me again

Well if 50 over cricket is slowly dying on it's a**e, England are doing their utmost to see it's brutally murdered in this country.

Disinterested, spineless, useless. And them's the good points!

Well I'm still flying on the back of my best sporting summer ever. England win the Ashes and then a week later Wire win the Challenge Cup. Stick your ODI series up your booty, and the Super League. There's history and then theres invented competitions.

I haven't smiled so much for ages, just reading this forum with pommie posts, they are rubbishing everyone and anyone, they read like something out of the diary of a 10 year old boy.......but I bet IF England were to win a couple of the last 3 ODIs all would be forgiven and England would again be the top cricketing nation in the world....gee you poms are REALLY FICKLE. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Let's be honest, you have been crap for the last 20 odd years and will continue to be so for the next 20 years if you dont stop picking foreign players ad-lib and concentrate on bringing up your own players......an old Yorkshire friend of mine tells me at one time England could have picked a team from the Yorkshire Council League that would have given Australia a good game......................Oh HAPPY DAYS.

Nice to see smug Aussies are still alive and well!. It was that attitude that lost you The Ashes TWICE in succession in England and you even managed to come second in The One Horse Race that was the RL World Cup last year. Read this topic it is much happer reading.

The bowling and batting doesn't have enough strike players in it.

The Aussies, Indians, South Africans etc have both guys capable of hitting regular boundries on top of picking up the singles and also have bowling attacks that have a good mixture of tight bowlers and strike bowlers.

It's not helping us that the batting line up is totally wrong. We have Morgan at 6 who's a number 3 for Middlesex and is capable of knocking the singles about aswell as taking advantage of the early powerplays, we have Shah moving all over the shop when his only really good form for England has come at 6 and we have prior playing at 4 when the guy is a boundry hitter and not the best at hitting the gaps for 1's and 2's(when thats exactly whats called for at 4). He should be given a settled run as a pinch hitting opener or be put down to 7.

Agree with you about the batting & bowling, but the clown fielding tonight was laughable.

Seems now we've got the ashes in the bag that'll do em for another 4 years.

We've been a shambolic one day side for way too long, still as long as the grounds are keep getting packed they big cheeses wont care.

2 years mate,we get them back in 2011.

I agree with you about the fielding, they looked like a team of 14 year olds.

WHY ON EARTH CANT THEY STICK TO ENGLISH MEN INSTEAD OF BEING A JOKE ALL THE TIME BY PLAYING SARFERS AND OTHER NATIONALITIES.
To be honest I wouldn't spend my hard earned money to watch the pathetic players they are choosing to represent England.

Do we actually have a 50 over domestic comp in England? Or just the pro40/20/20?
