Regardles of the outcome Strauss made the right decision in not enforcing the follow on. Conditions on Saturday were perfect for batting and having them at 128-5 should have been game over.

It's set fair at Lords which wll favour the aussies so it's now all about the new ball and the first hour, break the partnership and we win, otherwise we lose. We can't defend the total as 209 if easily gettable in a day. Mitchell Johnson can bat and the others did well in the 1st inngs so if this partnership put on another 50-100 then they have to be favourites.
