Jake Peavy has said yes to a trade to the White Sox just a couple of months after rejecting us just because were closer to the Tigers in the standings.More likely it's because he's realised nobody else wanted him.

| The Yankees have been very impressive - hardly surprising with their roster. One thing I've noticed is that they seem to have a much better team spirit than previous years. It may be due to the new players recruited but I think that management have most likely relaxed their attitude also.
I'm not expecting much out of our series with them this week. Our best chance of a win is actually against Burnett on Wednesday. We seem to perform better in afternoon games and Romero will want to make up for his blow up on Friday. After that it gets no easier for us as we travel to Tampa. It;s going to be a looooong week. |

| The White Sox claim Alex Rios off waivers and we let him go, with nothing in return. The genius that is JP Retardi strikes again. Apparently it's to free up some salary to give us more flexibility - shame you didn't think of that less than 2 years ago when you offered Rios that big money deal eh JP? 
Add this to the Frank Thomas and BJ Ryan fiascos and it's amazing that he still has a job.
I can't wait to see who this clown signs in the off season.  |
