EE, do you honestly think Evra could play centre back?
As an emergency, yes.
Do you expect Michael Ball to play centre-half and Elano as RB? They did. They had to. United should just deal with it. thety are not the only team who has had selection problems due to injuries

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has queried the regulations surrounding Andrey Arshavin's exclusion from the Champions League last-16 match against Roma. The Russia forward is cup-tied having played for Zenit St Petersburg in earlier rounds of the competition. "The logic is not obvious - he played for a team that cannot play in the competition anymore," Wenger said ahead of Tuesday's first leg. "But we cannot complain because we knew that when we bought him."
What a moron.

I know but surely a midfielder like Carrick or Fletcher would play centre half over Evra, he's what, 5ft 6 or something? I know Cordoba's small but he has terrific leap and over a decade of experience at centre back.
When did Ball play centre back? Not doubting it or anything, I just can't recall when he played there.

At least you've got a team
We're in trouble if Arteta is out for a while, especially with no Yakubu and Pienaar and Osman still out.
If Moyes gets this team 6th with Arteta gone, he's Manager of the Year, doesn't matter what Fergie wins.
Edit: He's gone until August at least, Afroman needs a hell of a run-in now.
The only saving grace is that the fixture list is kind, apart from a Stamford Bridge visit, but it looks like the FA Cup dream is over. With 6 points over the chasing pack, hopefully 6th will be secured, and with it, UEFA Cup, assuming one of the top 5 win the FA Cup, or Man U beat Spurs.
