At least David Haye's Klitchsko-baiting came across as banter, designed to hype an upcoming fight.....Chisora's behaviour just comes across as pure stupidity, with little logic behind it, bar making his night a shorter one, because Vitali will now just be more determined to make a mess of him.

I'd guess the idea behind it would be see if the could get Klitschko to come out swinging and then catch him cold with a big counter.
I think Vitali is way too intelligent and experienced to fall for it. I can't see Chisora lasting more than 8 rounds. I think he'll take a bit of a pasting, like he did against Tyson Fury, but much worse.

Yes, that seems like the likely outcome.....Vitali is cold and calculating enough to make sure he inflicts lengthy and maximum pain on Chisora.
Hopefully, Chisora receives the hammering he deserves and shrinks back into obscurity, where he belongs.
I had to laugh at the clip on sky sports news afterwards where they interviewed him outside. He was claiming that people are taking him as a joke, he's come here to fight and is very serious, then he brilliantly said... "Where's my car?!?" Priceless viewing!
Chisora will get smashed tonight, I don't think it'll go much further than the mid rounds.
I've not really given this bout much thought until the last few days, but the more I think about it the more I'm baffled about how Chisora has got this shot at the title.
The fact he isn't even in the top 3 British heavyweights makes this bout even more scary.....I think even the ruthless Frank Warren must be praying that Chisora gets out of the ring in one piece, because, if not, there will be blood on his hands for allowing this fight to go ahead.

Povetkin didn't want to fight him, neither did Boystov or any other of the top contenders. Plus he was promised a fight with Vlad twice and Vlad pulled out. Maybe they feel they owe him.
No, it would be a far bigger upset than that......Douglas at least had the credentials to be challenging for the title, indeed it was his second shot. He was a decent boxer, just lacked a little heart at times....Also, at that time, Tyson was already showing signs of boredom and apathy towards the sport, and though it was a major shock, there was an element of seeing this sort of thing coming at some point.
Chisora has no right to be in the same ring as a World champion, simple as.....He has limited talent and has nothing on his record to suggest he stands any chance.
He beat Helenius whom I believe is rated top 10 by most of the organisations - And I know it doesn't say he won that fight on his record but anyone with atleast 1 eye could see he won that fight easily. Is he less deserving than Mormeck, or Solis, or Briggs? I don't for a second think Chisora will win but I know he'll have a good go, and I'm yet to see him in a boring fight (his style reminds me of Joe Frazier) which is all we can ask really after the dross we've seen in the HW division and the anti-climax (understatement) that was Haye-Vlad.
He lost to Helenius. No matter what you think, officially he lost.

You could have quite easy by correcting CS when he says Chisora beat Helenius.
