Well looking at your tips today I'd classify you as a genius Just wish I had got on the earlier 3. I'll take £100 profit from my £10 on Ebraam though

Not for me - the PP at Kempton tonight paid £14.70, IMO and most others I work with the key to the placepot is to get the favourites out of the frame and in that regard the more the merrier.

Remember that anyone selecting a NR in a Placepot is automatically put on the favourite and as it's a pool bet the less money on your horses that place the better. For example even if you have 5 placed favourites and then say 20/1, 16/1 and 14/1 the placepot should pay a heck of a lot more than if a favourite is placed in each leg, plus it's a lot harder than it sounds, worth looking into over the next week though just to see but in my experience you seldom get all six favs placing on a card, Kempton it happened tonight but at the afternoons Lingfield AW meeting only five placed.

The horse mentioned above for today is:

17:05 Thurles - Mount Benbulben, currently 7/2 against a supposedly very nice horse of Willie Mullins. He demolished every fence when winning his Maiden at Tinahely last month and was well backed (some were on at 33/1) when going off at 11/2 for a bumper last month, travelling very well into the straight before being outpaced and subsequently badly happened by yesterdays runner-up Aupcharlie and finishing well in fourth.
