Martinez favourite on Betfair to be next Celtic manager.

Only 11/4 so by no means a cert but looks like there must be something in it (hopefully a story in tomorrows press but I fear if Celtic want him he will not be able to say no).

Indeed think he would probably turn Wigan down at this stage in his career but Celtic I'm not so sure he could resist.

think he'd be interested in going to a bigger club. latics would certainly be a step down

Not really but at Swansea he's got the foundations of a great side ready and next season could make him as a manager and us as a club if he could take us into the top flight. I'm not sure he'd want someone else to do it instead if he left but Celtic is a massive draw (he was supposed to have turned down being Alex Fergusons assistant last Summer though not sure he was actually officially offered it).

swansea have history and a firm fanbase. latics don't.

Perhaps but that is a very long time ago when out history was worth recording.

Firm fanbase is stretching it as before we left The Vetch we were getting under 5,000 now it's nearer 14,000 but since moving to the Liberty its all been up up up so if we hit hard times I do not know how the crowds would hold up.
