Miserere, 7:30 Beverley, is in from around 40/1 to as low as 9/1 in places. It's form leaves a lot to be desired but somebody must know something about it as it's gone in at just about everybody bookmaker.
Went to Beverley tonight.
Only just seen this but backed it of my own accord after a good write up in the local paper which stated the trainer worked whole year towards this race and had had a 20/1 winner in same race 2 years ago and would go well again.
Headed the field 2 or 3 furlongs out but seemed to fade quite quickly.
Liked the look of Mawjoodah in same race for CE Brittain, seemed to run very green but lively at 50's+ on course. Worth another look
Not Frankies biggest fan but won his two races by a street. In particular Robens Rock.
Last race Leader of the land hacked up. I had longest traveller Corr Point for Jamie Osborne but Leader of the Land was the most comfortable winner I had seen for some time under Ted Durcan.
Mister Hughie was well backed on course earlier in the night, punters were lumping on at evens only for it to fall a furlong out leaving a 25/1 winner in front, leaving all but the bird in front of me who'd had a tenner on the winner at 25's crying into their Beverley beer not for the first time.
