Challenge Cup sponsors Carnegie have arranged so that the world famous Challenge Cup will visit both South Craven School and Cougar Park on Thursday, April 2.
It will be going on display at South CravenSchool when they host the round of the Carnegie Champion Schools tournament.
South Craven will be playing against SettleHigh School and GeorgePinderHigh School (Scarborough) in the world’s largest schools Rugby league tournament!
The Cup will be visiting CougarPark from 3.30pm until 6.00pm when fans are invited down to see one of the world’s most famous trophies in world sport.
And if fans want to have their photographs taken with the trophy then they should make arrangements to bring their cameras or camera phones down to CougarPark to grab a snap for the family album.
Helen Carter, the Cougars’ General Manager, said: “Keighley last reached Wembley in 1937 so this will be one of the best opportunities since then for our fans to get up close and personal with the Challenge Cup.
“We’d like to thank Carnegie for the opportunity of having the Challenge Cup visit CougarPark and this part of the Aire Valley”.
