I must say we feel this is something the club should advise the fans going to the game as in this instance directly affects them. If we have to watch any other game than ours and be charged above what we normally pay at skolars then we may not bother going as we dont intend having further expense imposed on us. Does anyone from cougars actually read this or is it only us posters.

I would have thought by now the club would have been contacted about it and possibly their just waiting till something more definate is confirmed.

And as much as I like the idea, it needs to be reasonably priced.

I think a certain Mr Greasley may like the idea as The Stoop is one of only afew RL grounds he has never been to for a game.

from my own personal point of view ,t playing at the New River suited us down to the ground..pre night final last season.....

Firstly the Skolars Ground is easily accessible from the centre of London...and enabled a fair number of those that ' were just in London for a weekend on the beer ' and on the traditional Fri- Sun Cup Final weekend trips that have happened over the years to attend the Cougars Fixture.Having tried to access Twickenham (close by the Stoop) by public transport has ,in previous years for the final from the centre of London, been hard work ,and to be honest if you really didnt have to do it you wouldnt.

Last years fixture despite all Sklolars overglorifying of the game gave our town & two of its teams a real filip,

The Under 16s provided a wonderful curtain-raiser to the main game, providing us a result, that was in doubt down to the hooter, against senior opponents that had the Cougar faithful on their feet ..

similar followed with our 1st team boys ... and to my mind, regardless of
the result if the same should happen with our boys this year , i we should be allowed to celebrate in a venue specific to us.... and not on the coat-tails of the Dulls.

Any chance it would be Televised on the Friday night ???.

We might get an airing on prime TV as a 2nd game cherry especially if we have already won promotion by then , which we should have .

Its not going to happen.

Skolars have put a stop to it.
They don't want to lose there identity.
