I have just finished talking to Helen Carter at the club.

Things regarding the tax situation is still on going.
The club is hoping to have all the i dotted and the t crossed so they can then make a statement by Friday.

Its good things are ongoing and I am aware of somethings going on behind closed doors and I am looking forward to bringing the sorry situation to an end. That being said individuals at the club have a duty to explain how and why this happened again. As I assume the club has an accountant either the person is crap at the job or maybe the money to pay the bills was simply not there, honesty is the key. I accept times are hard but when things go well as they have done the directors rightly get praise but on the other hand criticism is justified when something like this happens yet again.

I agree with you but I think we should go a little easy on the critisism though.

Without the actions of the board members, who are now in the firing line, we probably wouldn't have a club to support at all.

They did bring the club back from the dead after all.

Stealth you are right up to a point as my post is borne out of frustration. But to ignore the fact that this has happened is not the way to go. But for now I will temper my criticism till after the issues have been resolved.
