I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Anon.

Mate honestly, I'm not trying to stir anything up, but your man mentioned moving into an expansion area and in three seasons you'll be in Superleague. It was this comment that annoyed me.

The mess at Keighley is nothing to do with Crusaders, it's all to do with Keighley. Just like Doncaster, Oldham, Rochdale, Widnes and before that York.

Keighley have no one to blame but their own board, so his comment just makes him look incredibly bitter.

I'm a York fan and I went through all this in 2002, and I do not envy you at all. I wish you all the luck and support in the world. It's not nice when you may lose your club, but it's pointless blaming anyone else.

To me he comes across as satirical, whereas you appear to be taking the opportunity to have a go.

Most Cougar fans blame no one but our board.

But hey ho some people follow ambulances for a living, it takes all sorts to make a world.

What reason is there to be satirical about a totally unrelated club?

Most Cougar fans are spot on, I was with the Keighley Town lot last Saturday, top bunch they were :)

You've missed the point completely - no club was mentioned!!!

It appears that you chose to read into it what you wanted to see.

Anyway, It seems pointless two third parties debating what someone else intended their post to mean. I'm sure he'll be on later and explain.

It was my post he was on about - I just feel that if our club was in a development area, maybe we'd be having an easier ride of it?
I wasn't having a pop at any other club, just what sometimes feels like a not-very-level playing field.
That said, I appreciate Keighley's problems are largely (?) of their own making.

No worries, although your hypothetical situation did sound very familiar... ;)

Seriously though, I'm certain a pro club in Keighley will be competing in the Championship next year with 17 lads giving it their all each week, and I wish them all the best, as it's what your fans deserve.

Heres to York joining you in the Championship in 2011!

I'll be very surprised if we're still there next year, and thats putting it mildly. Only thing I see of interest is whether we are relegated with a plus, or minus score!

Aye, possibly the only 'wins' we get will be a good level of support for our team, through these hard times!
I think it's time to get behind the team, and the club.

Except for their coach who got a bit lippy when he realised his team wern't going to score against a bunch of students... most of them were pretty sound with us aye.
