Unfortunately due to bad weather we have had to cancel the pre- season annual Peter Fell Memorial Game. The pitch is frozen and unplayable at the minute and with the temperatures set to stay below freezing it is unlikely to thaw in time. We also suffered a major set back yesterday when some pipes burst in the referees room and flooded both changing rooms and the referees room, resulting in the floors and ceilings having to come down.

All efforts are now being focused on getting the pitch and changing rooms ready for the friendly against Halifax next Friday night. We will be looking for volunteers to help get the pitch and changing rooms put back from next Tuesday or Wednesday. If anyone can assist whether it is clearing the pitch, salting the terraces or painting the changing rooms please contact me at the office on 01535 606044.

Has got to be worth trying though hasn't it?

We've had our last 2 games called off and this one is a pretty big one and will be worth a few quid to us when we're skint.

I don't know about you but I'm just dying to see a game.

I won't be able to help Tuesday, Wednesday because of work commitments but if there's a chance it may go ahead I may be able to help Friday. Would be nice to see a few Fax fans help us, after all you're only 10 miles away.

Stealth Comic - thanks for offer could you give me a ring at office on Friday morning and i will let you know how we are going on. we are planning to leave snow on as long as possible to protect the ground from ice so may need your help Friday.
