I really enjoyed the Q&A session, there was only a dozen of us so we gathered informally around a few tables, asked questions and generally chatted with the directors and staff whilst having a couple of pints. Very informal and refreshingly different to the previous setup.


Are you going to post minutes Helen?

Yep will do will probably be tomorrow though if ok.

Thought is was a great Q&A, i know Gary and Graham enjoyed it so hopefully we can keep them going and they get the chance to meet more of the fans.

There's no rush, just thought some of the points mentioned by the board and Barry would be of interest to those who were unable to attend. The informal nature seemed to make people feel comfortable and brought things out - I think everyone there contributed in some way.

Although only a dozen turned up I suppose its quality that counts . At least people can't say the club won't communicate.

I found it particularly revealing that certain clubs in our division are paying bigger contracts than superleague. It seems the franchise system has done nothing to cure the boom and bust mentality - just pushed it into a three year cycle.

I know I asked at the meeting about 2 games on this Sunday.

IE Reserves and 1st team at Whitehaven.

I was told no, but I'm still hearing rumours that we will have a Reserve Curtain raiser at Whitehaven.


Is this still a no Helen?

I had my own questions and answers debate with a director in france. I can't remember the guys name though!!!!

If what he said was true then the club is been run correctly.
