In the Leauge Express it says John Presley is to join York City Knights next season.

Good luck to him, seemed a likeable lad.

At times looked like a world beater last year in CH1 and although he has scored some good tries this year his defence has been far too poor.

He was targeted time and time again and players simply ran over the top of him - you could hear players picking him out and taking it in turns to run at him.

He might regain some of his confidence and form back in CH1, but hopefully not against us.

A pretty fair assessment.

Good luck to him, always came across as a decent bloke. Was brilliant in attack when he believed in himself.

But should he line up against us, I'll be hoping Barry's team talk involved driving the ball at him at every possible opportunity to the point of having centres running the full width of the pitch looking for him, and running him over like what happened in the 2nd half at Fev.

Yes, didn't we sub him in the second half to save further embarrassment? I seem to remember that by that time the grass was worn out down his channel

A nice bloke and the potential to become a great player.

When he learns/gets enough confidence, to take the line on he really will haunt teams.
I just hope it wont be us.

Wish the lad all the best, at times he was really, really good for us.

We did, it was more like a neatly ploughed furrow.

I'd have felt sorry for him had it not been that I'd gone over at short notice to see us get murdered.

It was just plain brutal. I've never seen targeting like it, it was practically every 1st or 2nd tackle after the kick-off they tried it and they pretty much ended up under the sticks before he'd got up off his ar5e.

i dont think he will cause us too many problems next year.

every lad on our team knows how he plays in attack and im sure they will all be up for smashing him.

Good luck to him with york though, hes been a good stand off for us, and did well to pick himself up after that game at fev, he was droped at whitehaven the following week and it must have been a huge confidance knock.

Yes i agree good luck to the lad at York, Always was a good player at cougars lets hope he doesnt come back to haunt us
