what's the point !!!!!!. This should of been organised weeks ago. I'm still awaiting a a phone call back regarding shirt sizes. Also while I'm on whinging mode why have a shirt launch one night and the sponsors night the following. Would it not be a good idea to have both together, and attract new sponsors, instead of buttering up old sponsors.
Couldn't possibly have the bourgeoisie sponsors mingling with the riff-raff that are the real fans
I'm in work 'til 8:15. So the chances are I won't be there.
A Wednesday night seems a wierd choice from a promotional perspective. You've got the KN coming around but don't they publish on Thursdays? So any publicity the club wanted won't be in print until the 23rd, a week after the event and only 2 shopping days before xmas A bit of a faux pas I reckon.
Couldn't the club have gone all out and moved this gig to the Airedale Centre for the Thursday late night shopping? A couple of first teamers with muscles bulging through the fitted version of the kit to turn the heads of the ladies, signing autographs for the kids? Have shirts, season tickets and other merchandise on sale there.
This just seems to lack a bit of imagination, appealing only to current fans when we should be looking to develop a bigger fan base. Lots of folk are going to be working on Wednesday evenings, many can't justify the expense of a few pints when they've christmas presents to buy and parties to attend etc.
