Firstly A Happy New Year to you all

This first friendly is one of my favourite games of the season, Fax always give us a good game and we have ran themselves close a number of times and been unlucky to not come away with a win.

Tough call this as we have a fair few ex-fax players who will want to show their worth against their former club.

We are however without Danny Jones who always lifts his game when playing Fax so it will be interesting to see who we play in the halfs and how they work, this could be our undoing of I'm honest so I'm going to say

I'd imagine probably Pivots likley to be a combination of Marchy , Tiger , Steady n Jordan A. Plus Buster and maybe Jack Lee in at 9 , though Paul and Ben can both play there as well.

Halifax look to be playing a fair smattering of young uns and I've no doubt we'll do the same
