Hot drinks would have made today perfect.

Very good today loads of moves came off. The score is not important but the performence was something to build on.

Wish we had a closer game next week.

I had to leave the game early today, so unless I can get hold of the gantry footage I will not be able to post the highlights.

Score was 56 4 to us. Barnett got 2. Ben Stead got man of the match and he deserved it.

Other stand out players. The big number 10 cant think of his name for the life of me. The lad from Fev, Lee also looked good for the time he was on.

Shame I missed it , all set to go , was getting sorted and I had an
adverse reaction with the pain meds I am forced to take and it
floored me , was gutted , sounded like a great show from the texts
I got later on !
Looking forward to the next game already !

Today's score was actually 58-4 there was 10 try's and 9 goals. Try scores were:

Ritchie Barnett - 2 try's
Elliot Cosgrove - 2 try's
Danny Williams - 2 try's
Jack Lee - 1 try
Danny Lawton - 1 try
Sean Hesketh -1 try
Can't remember the other try scorer lol Ben stead kicked 9 goals, he only missed 1.

All in all a good game and we were simply a different league above Rochdale. Thought the new fullback played well he made some good yards and looked a bigger stronger runner than Craig moss, but not has fast.

Ash Lindsay also had a good game and looks like he will cause teams a lot of problems. The team certainly looks more organised than last year that's for sure. Also good to see Olly Pursglove playing today along with Gav Duffy.

Man of Match - Ben Stead he had a very impressive game.

Champagne moment was 1 of Ritchie Barnets try's and attendance was around the 360 mark.

Yes we are blessed with some pretty decent goalkickers , but Ben Steads success rate generally could be vital. I thought he may have been left out last year due to defensive frailties perhaps but there was no evidence of that pneumonia Sunday
