Buster gives his reasons for leaving in the T&A, maybe just me but reading betwwen the lines it doesnt sound too good, dont know how to post a link but its on the T&A online.

He says he hasn't been enjoying his rugby for the last 12-18 months. Is that his way of saying something without actually saying it? I know what I think it means anyway.

He's replaceable. I've not particularly enjoyed his rugby either for the last 18 months.

I've heard a rumour players have not been getting paid on time. That can have an effect on all players if true.

In that report, he states that he is not enjoying his rugby and is hoping to come back one day. To me, that says there may be politics behind the scenes involving the coach and certain members of the team. It reads that he enjoyed playing before this coach and he would like to come back when this coach has left.

It does seem strange that James Feather has decided to leave. I didn't expect this to happen at all.

All players are replaceable as indeed are coaches and directors.

What you can't replace is spirit and the love of your hometown club, the desire to go that extra yard when others are failing around you.

Buster was an absolute tackling machine and we will miss that alone, especially in a side that seem to have the ability to fall apart in defence.

On the plus side, David March is a fine player at this level too. Let's hope he can help plug the gap.

I don't doubt that Buster was keighley through and through.

However, on a few occasions during the season I have commented that he is quiet, isn't playing to his full potential.

Having read his report in the paper this week it seems he wasn't happy at Keighley.

The deal has to work both ways, if your not happy then move on, if the club are not happy then move on, he wasn't being played the usual amount of game time so would think he was a good option? good cover?

We must play a team that want to play 100% for cougars.

Far too many players didn't perform to their potential, that's why we're in Championship 1. That needs sorting, we can't come through Ch 1 performing like damp squibs and expect promotion.

I would have thought the coach and management would want to know why such a loyal player was unhappy, and others so languid and put it right.
