Good points Leaguefan, some of the players even though this is part time as you say do take it seriously and they look fit, they are fit and they are the right shape for their position. Their performance as a result is usually very good and more so consistent. Others dont seem to give a hoot. It is those players who are letting us down now and who could not possibly even think of playing a succesful part in NL1.
It was the first time I saw Brenden last last since he returned after everyones hard work and suport and it was embarrasing. So whilst the club were working hard getting hold of councillors, mps and embassey officials, he was clearly lying on a bed getting a silly tattoo and eating burgers. Was it really worth the cost and effort??? How much money could have been spent on other more usefull players??? Shouldn't really single him out but he is high profile given the effort getting him back.
Maybe and I suspect this is the case, Barry is well aware we are not good enough yet to beat Dewsbury so lets just use the remaining matches to get some of the less fit, less sharp players up to speed. It is unlikely that if we lose all four that we will fall out of the play off positions so lets use the games to get some players right. Shame to have to do that so late in the season but the evidence was there last night that we just can't stay organised and on the ball for 80 minutes against the best teams.
Worky should be easy, Rochdale will be a bit tough but lets see how the team does against some good opposition in Hunslet.
