I heard that he was walking around after the game. So I'm guessing he wasn't badly hurt. He appeared to be out cold when they took him past us to the dressing room.

Let's just say it was during a passage of play when the ref lost control of things. Their number 8 got sent off, another probably should have walked for dropping the knees on George. Shickell was getting involved in a bit off biff as well and was looking like he was going to get himself sent off until he got thumped. The french were booing him everytime he touched the ball after that.

Brave lad, thumping Shick! Good to see the tries being scored by all different players too, let's hope that's a good sign. Well done to all the Cougar fans who made the trip. A direct flight from Leeds/bradford and a summer kick off, I might've been able to persuade my other half to a romantic (ahem!) weekend in Toulouse.

The try credited to Buster was scored by Shickell!!!!

Was a pretty good trip out. What I will say to fans of other clubs who are going over and read this is if you want to bring any duty free back, buy it in the UK first. It's at least 25% cheaper than in Europe. Also use the flybus to and from the airport €5 each way as opposed to the €35 taxi fare quoted.

Everything was bloody expensive!!

A long night in an Irish bar last night meant money didn't go too far.

Despite the scoreline, was a good trip and would do it again and was good to see quite a few of us over there.

A fab weekend despite the score. The people of Toulouse were very friendly. The Town was very clean. The beer was expensive but tasted so much better than in the UK. I have captured a little of the weekend in the attached vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9UVbl9A0V0

I completely agree I don't think i'll ever have Kronenbourg over here ever again after realising how much better it is over there.

Mick, it depends on what time the turnstiles are open, so we can watch the video Thursday night in the
bar. Maybe Helen can have them opened early.
