The thing is you can see the point of the first post, debate.

To many people cant. To many people read into it, what they want to read into it.

At no point did i say anything about how the team should go on to lose a game by not playing to there best. Yet once again certain people are implying that i did.

Would any one like to show me where i said we should lose games?

I see GP is having ago at my role on the fund raising committee, because of my first post. GP try reading what is written, rather than once again twisting it to suit your agenda.

Jim you have misread or misinterpreted my comment re fundraising as I think its good that anyone is on the commitee and actually say so.

The majority of replies to your original post feel it was intimated we stop trying, are you really saying we are all wrong or you backtracking.

As for agenda when anyone whether it be yourself or not makes a valid point I say so, on the other hand if a post is stupid I like others wiil rightly say so. Strange you only refer to my name :?

To avoid this quite simply think before posting to avoid criticism as on this occasion you seem to have misjudged things.

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

You asked a question "Is playing well a good thing"

Expressed an opinion "Now this is where, i think it will be a real problem"

Then got a series of reasoned answers - in my book thats debate. The fact that you don't like the answers then accuse people of misunderstanding you (reading what they want to see) perhaps indicates that your original post was poorly constructed. I've read the original post again, with several different spectacles on, and still believe the implication is that if we want to keep our coach and players we should play badly. You may not have intended it, but it's what comes across, and that so many have picked up on it perhaps illustrates my point.

I'm not arguing of course, just entering into the debate

To be honest I think this is just one of a few scenarios that could happen.

We could defy the odds and stay up but a club like Barrow could steam in with a wheelbarrow full of cash and cherry-pick our best players like what happened to Oldham.

It's all hypothetical at the moment, we've got to cross the bridges when we come to them.

I thought you were saying we ought to throw it...
...not much point turning up and shouting ourselves hoarse if that were the case.
Luckily, I can't see the likes of Jermaine, Andy Schickell, Gav etc thinking that way!
