Re crossbar challenge if you look carefully the 1st attempt bounces up hits post high up and was not far off . Reason for retake was because as I was kicking it the ball fell of tee and so was retaken, the 2nd attempt was slightly embarassing
Onto the vid now, having looked at it again why did the ref even though clearly blew for us to play Jamaine then scores then is pulled back, any idea why.
Shocking decision in my view.
Is that the one where it is by the sticks for a penalty? If so it is pulled back because he uses the referee as a blocker and you can't do that. The ref actually made a mistake because he blew to restart and take the penalty, however on stopping play he made you guys retake the penalty. It should actaully have been a scrum on ten metres to keighley as an unfair advantage was gained from the referees position. It's all in the rule book.

Spot on. You can't use the referee as a blocker, it's not the NFL.
I know a player can't run without legs... but remember us all saying we were letting too many opposition players offload in the tackle early in the season? Short of always having at least two men in the tackle, it's a bit of a conundrum if you're the guy having to decide how to tackle I should think.
If it's 1 on 1, unless your Daley Williams, you should always take the legs as you can use the runner's momentum to put him down.
If you go high on someone you run a much higher risk of the tackle being bust due to the tackler absorbing more of the ball carrier's momentum in contact and not neutralising the driving force behind that momentum.
I suppose so, although there seem to be quite a few tackles where a player will attempt to wrap up the arms, and then drop to the floor with the opposition player falling on top of them. Mind you, you'd need a bit of beef yerself to guarantee that method!
I don't think, i have ever come away from a game, feeling as gutted as i did today. Halifax were there for the taking. Our stupid mistakes gave them the game.
If they are supposed to be, one of the best teams in our league. Then we really are doing well.
If it wasn't for that -9 points
It could also be argued that our stupid mistakes let you back in I was suprised you kicked the first penalty when you had us on the rack.
