Obviously rugby league biff in York is considered to be a cowardly attack.

Even the video proved it wasn't cowardly, nor a cheap shot from behind.

Daley got what he deserved for dropping Radcliffe but no doubt York will go looking for him on Sunday.

I think you will find that rugby league biff is not considered to be a cowardly attack either in York or when York are on their travels, during a game of rugby league.I do not think all the evidence from Sunday will have been delivered to Red Hall as yet and the 'lack of video evidence' relates to another game featuring Andy Hobson, for it is he,and not Blackpool or their fans, who has incurred the wrath of the York supporters at the game on Sunday.
The injured York player sustaining the injury when the game had ended !
A nice York victory may be some small consolation to the victim of the cowardly assault by the thug responsible.
A victory on Sunday and York replacing Keighley in the Championship should bring some cheer to the York people (deluded or otherwise)

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Anon.

I'm sure it would, but that remains to be seen

I am looking forward to see how we play against a lower division team.

The incident we're all referring to is not the Blackpool incident over the weekend but an incident regarding our centre Daley Williams and York's full back James Ratcliffe in a playoff game against York last season.

After the game York fans came trolling on to our forum saying that it was an unprovoked cheap shot from behind, Williams was a coward, he should be banned for life, he should be locked up and he rained down multiple blows on him.

When a video of the incident was shown on the website of a York newspaper. It shows a bit of argie bargy between Ratcliffe and Williams and then Williams dropped him with a big right hook unfortunately leaving Ratcliffe with a broken nose and dislocated jaw.

Williams got what he deserved, a 2 match ban that ruled him out of a Grand Final.

That incident plus the animosity there seems to between some (and I must stress it's some) York fans and ourselves (and we seem to get on pretty well with everybody else) means there's going to be a little bit of added spice to this game. It should be a cracker but I think we'll be too strong for them.

The prediction should really be....

Who will we get in the Semi?

Would be happy with anybody but Widness at Widness.

Re: York Predictions : Sun Jun 06, 2010 7:34 pm
Pretty tepid game today. We took our chances when we needed to but never got out of 3rd gear.

Score was a little harsh on York who battled gamely, never gave up but in attack lacked potency.

Showed the difference in class between Championship and Championship 1.

Playing the theme from Rocky 3 when Daley Williams scored was inspired.
